Tenant and Rent
Hi,
I am new to the game. I need some advice on a situation.
I have a section 8 tenant who did not pay rent, was served a notice to quit by a Marshall. And then she had money to send. I asked her to send it certified mail and did not comply with those directions and sent it regular mail for her late rent.
If I do not receive it what do I do?
Does the notice to quit continue?
Or is that taken as an act of “good faith” on her word. Even though I did not receive it?
