Hello everyone!

Im sure this has been posted before plenty of times, but I just got back into real estate investing, and I am looking for a good website builder option like Carrot, or any other, that you guys can suggest.

Aloha Julio,  who is your target audience?  Expired Listings, FSBO, Preforeclosures?  Most do the "We Buy Houses" approach which solutions like Carrot works perfectly.   If you want to do something cheaper and less REI customized you can just do Godaddy, Wix or equivalent.

If you are pursuing distressed homeowners -- "We Buy Houses" is a turn off for them.  It's best to use the "Avoid Foreclosure" approach.  Please let me know if you have questions.

Mahalo!

Hi Julio,

If you're looking to throw together something quick, Wix and Squarespace are the best no-code design tools I know.

If you're interested in getting something done professionally, feel free to reach out. I design affordable custom websites for small businesses, my designs specifically focus on getting the highest Google PageSpeed scores possible (example) which boosts their ability to rank in search engines and making sure their site includes at least 2 content silo pages that rank for specific keywords (ie "sell my house in Atlanta, GA").

More about our services HERE. Still happy to weigh in if you do the Wix route and need any advice, cheers!

It really depends if you want the website to be part of your marketing, all of it, or the hub page that all of your print marketing drives to. Those are two different kinds of sites, in my opinion.

What is the purpose of the website as others mention? Many can go with a CRM and create a few landing pages to bring in leads and not to have to create a full blown website

Lots of options for website builders. Things to consider:

1- How techie are you? All of the website builders work a bit differently so some of it comes down to personal preference. Doing a free trial or money back within 30 days might be good to see if you like the platform.

2- The advantage to using Carrot is that the pages are built out specifically for the real estate industry and just need to be customized and personalized to you and your market. If you decide you like another website builder, you will need to create these pages and content yourself.

3- Do some competitive research for your market. Which sites are winning the seo war when you search in google? What are they doing well? What can you do better? What are they missing? How are they showing their credibility? Written content? Photos? Videos? This is so important.

4- Some platforms let you build pages, some let you build landing pages which are really just web pages that are designed for specific keyword phrases and sometimes don't include navigation menus to keep your leads from clicking to another page on your website. Landing pages are great for running ppc (google pay per click) to measure conversions.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions.

I consider any page on the internet that is hooked up to a domain name a website or web page. Landing pages can be a one-page website. I might be looking at it differently.
